The Odd Burger vegan fast food restaurant franchise in Canada has expanded its frozen retail product range penetration in Ontario with a listing at Goodness Me! Natural Food Market locations across the province. This adds eight additional distribution points in Hamilton, Burlington, Waterloo, Guelph, Brantford, London, Barrie and Waterdown which stock Odd Burger SKUs including plant-based Breakfast Sausage, Smash Burgers and Chickpea Burgers.

“Our customers have been absolutely loving the Odd Burger retail line so far,” said Evan Hall, category manager for Goodness Me, which has been in business since 1981. “We are excited to keep working and growing with the Odd Burger brand to bring innovative and sustainable food to our community.”

Retail Line Growth
Odd Burger has benefited from significant growth in the retail sector this year, with total sales climbing over 127% from January to September. In June the retail assortment was introduced at Whole Foods Market stores in Canada, where demand is consistent. The Odd Burger retail range is currently available at over 40 outlets, with many additional distribution points in development.

“We have been meticulous with our expansion strategy,” said James McInnes, chief executive officer and co-founder of Odd Burger. “In making sure that we have the right products at the right price, I believe we may be at the point where the data is telling us that we’re ready.”
