Oman Air has signed a major new agreement with Mazoon Dairy, the flagship dairy project of the Sultanate of Oman. Through the best partnership, Mazoon Dairy will serve as the airline’s primary supplier of high-quality dairy products, including milk, yoghurt, laban, and cheese.
During the signing ceremony, Captain Nasser Al Salmi, Oman Air’s Chief Operating Officer, said, “As part of our commitment to In-Country Value (ICV), we are proud to support Oman’s food industry and contribute to Mazoon Dairy’s mission to enhance local self-sufficiency.This partnership underscores our dedication to procuring locally made products and strengthening domestic suppliers, ensuring that we continue to provide our guests with the highest quality food and beverages sourced from within Oman.”

The initiative is part of Oman Air’s broader strategy to contribute to ICV by prioritising local sourcing and fostering partnerships with homegrown businesses. In 2024 the airline collaborated with 323 local Omani companies, including 44 Small & Medium Enterprises (SMEs).
Meanwhile, through its Vendor Development Programme, Oman Air also supports SMEs in improving their capabilities, contractual performance and product development. Once onboarding them, the airline helps them to scale their products and measure their performance, with the goal of a long-term contract.
